The Challenge:
Salesmade Fabrications was approached by a company that was using a competitor for creating metal desk frames. The issue was that individual pieces didn’t always line up. This was wasting time on the assembly line and resulting in items being rejected. In addition, they weren’t always happy with the quality of welding. They had raised their concerns with their existing provider but had seen little change.
Our Solution:
The company contacted Salesmade Fabrications to see if we could improve on this service. Having considered the design and application, we could see that by adding tabs and slots to the metalwork, it was possible to ensure that the pieces were perfectly aligned every time. This subtle tweak eradicated the issue of rejected pieces.
Not only did our design alteration solve the main problem, but it also made the process quicker and reduced production costs. Our skilled team also consistently provided quality welding. In short, we solved the problem and delivered a quality solution.
